In summer and autumn 2026, Indian social entrepreneur, yoga practitioner and cultural mediator Jaiveer Sharma joins Rjukan Solarpunk Academy as Solarpunk in Residence.

During his stay in Norway, Sharma will work on developing Trust in Humanity, an emerging cultural exchange initiative connecting local communities, artists, educators, farmers and artisans across regions and cultures. The project is rooted in Agra, India, and developed through a collaboration between The Tourist Trust and Rjukan Solarpunk Academy.

Trust in Humanity explores how agriculture, creativity and knowledge systems can contribute to more sustainable and equitable futures. Drawing on perspectives from India and the Global South, the initiative seeks to strengthen cultural exchange while supporting practical forms of cooperation and social entrepreneurship.
